Mestawet Feleke is a devoted wife and mother of four—two sons and two daughters. She is the founder and director of the Abugida Language and Cultural Center, where she has dedicated over a decade to educating children in the Ethiopian language, culture, and history. Through her school at Abugida, Mestawet recognized a growing need for culturally relevant educational materials within the community. In response, she began publishing children’s books in 2022 to help fill that gap and further support children’s learning and identity development.
